What do you consider the cut Melee characters? Veterans or newcomers?

Which? How do consider them and if they were to come back, do you think they would be treated as a newcomer or veteran?

I consider them veterans (their movesets has been made already), but I think they would get a trailer á la Sonic.
If they end up as alts, they would just get a PoTD ofcourse.

The most likely cut veteran to return, Mewtwo, will be treated as one, as did Charizard in his reveal trailer at the end of the Smash Direct. Mewtwo might get a trailer this August, but it's exceedingly unlikely at the moment.

Either way, I seriously doubt he'll be labeled as a newcomer.

They're treating Charizard as a newcomer, so they'll definitely give other veterans the treatment (e.g Mewtwo, Doctor Mario) because they missed a whole game!
