What do these Brawl characters have in common?

Olimar, Wario, King Dedede, Peach, R.O.B., Luigi, Mario.
What they have in common as far as I'm concerned is that I have an unusually hard time beating them. Whether I'm using Marth, Snake, Sheik, or MK, I rarely beat the above characters as level 9 CPU's. My assumption is that there is something inherent in these characters' strategies that I just can't see or combat against. Is there some common trait or strategy between these characters? Again, I'm talking Brawl.

I don't know about the others, but level 9 Luigi is just freakishly good. Other than Wario, I guess they could all be played pretty campy, especially Olimar. I don't know how the CPU uses them though. If you really want to beat those guys, playing against good humans is the best way to improve quickly.

I'm not really sure what the characters have in common, but the cpu's like abusing their rolls and shield. Just learn to space your attacks properly and you should be fine.

Too bad the only good human I know is only good with Ike... :(

The thing is, I'm pretty good about spacing (esp. with Marth) against say... Samus, Mr. Game and Watch, and Toon Link, as examples. It's just these characters. I know I had some problems with Wario for the exact opposite reason of the one you described: he NEVER rolled and rarely sheilded.

If you play Marth then it most likely is your spacing. Cpu's take advantage of poor spacing, they tend to shield grab a lot. If it isn't that then I'm not sure. I would have to see you play to judge what you are doing. Sorry for not being able to help!
