What are your favorite things to yell during a game with friends?

So I don't know if it's just me and my friends, but we really like to yell random things whenever we play as certain characters and do certain moves.

For example, whenever I use Kirby's final smash I yell, "Get in the POT!!" in a voice reminicent of the voice of that guy who sang the part about Donkey Kong in the Donkey Kong rap. Also, using G&W's bell taunt then yelling "DINNER TIME" followed by mad sausage flipping is quite fun. This may seem strange to some of you if you don't play with others that often or if the room is just silent when you and your friends play, but my friends and I find this practice to be quite amusing. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else did this in their Smash group and what type of things are yelled during your matches.

well anyway my trademark phrase online is Ganny Smash!

I only use it when using ganondorf though

Well, if im losing I yell so many swear words, I think ive even made up some of my own.

but when I use my final smash as samus - "IMA FIRIN' MUH LAZER!"

and when I turned into zero suit samus - "peepshow at 12!"

Playing Melee with your friends without screaming stuff like that is like playing charades without any arms.

Common shoutings are "MINDGAAAMEEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD SON" if someone dies, misses, anything really.

SHINED BLIND SRY MATE if anyone does one of the easy shine-kills off the ledge.

Also move-specific rants, like the ****, (captain falcons up+b).


It's why I play it to be honest.

Also, making feral, Blanka-esque noises when you latch on to someone as Diddy Kong is pretty fun.

"MINDGAMES" is popular with me and my buds. Another saying I like to use when I kill someone with a kick is "BOOT TO THE HEAD!". Also, whenever Snake dies, everybody starts shouting "SNAKE?!? SNAKE?!?!?! SNNAAAAAAAAAAAKKEE!!!!!"

So true. I named all of Luigi's smash moves something epic in order to create an ironic effect seeing as Luigi is very non-epic. For example I named Luigi's down+A "Luigi's Promise." At first my friends were annoyed when they would get KO'ed by that silly roundhouse kick and I would yell, "OH MY!, LUIGI'S PROMISE!" in an announcer type voice--but now that is what that move is known as regardless of who is using Luigi.
