Weird thing with illusion-cancel

I've found that if you do an illusion-cancel fast enough wolf just sort of goes a little bit forward.

I'm trying to think of positive uses for it and the only one I can think of is as a fake.

Thoughts, or other uses for it?

That's what an illusion cancel IS. this has been known for a long time. You can let it go all the way out, stop it mid-way, or stop it almost immediately.

It has few real uses in gameplay. Mindgames are about it, although it can also be an interesting recovery technique if you use it midair to fake the opponent out and stop their edgeguarding attempts.
