I think the Pac-man trailer, as well as the huge attention given to 'the four mascots' at the press conference, made it quite clear that there are only going to be these guys in the game.

As much as I want Bomberman in, and BanjoKazooie of course, i cannot say I'm surprised (and Bomberman really should be in 5 anyway, gie Konami a break, and give the curent 'men a moment to catch their breath).

Pacman also being SUCH an icon rather makes anyone afterwards a little overshadowed to the general community...
