Melee & Project M Upper Peninsula Smash?

A friend of mine and I have played smash for the past ten years growing up in a small, somewhat rural city on the border of Canada, and we've always wanted to go to a tourney. However, the problem lies in the fact that there aren't many players up here. Anybody knows somewhere close to the eastern UP with tournaments?
