Is there any smash scene near tucson or in tucson ?

I grew up in Tucson, you're going to have a bit of trouble. A lot of people play smash but the scene is pretty scattered. I could ask some old friends if they still play and let you know.

I'm trying to start smash and the scene is VERY scattered I saw a few tourneys just out of AZ.

Yeah, your best bet is to put up fliers at schools, such as Pima CC, UofA and maybe even highschools. Ahh the old days, I think Tucson has potential to pull a good scene. Like I said however, I have friends that live there still that will be down to play.
