Every post consists of saying something about the person who posted before you, yourself, and the person who's gonna post after you. Here's how a typical post will look.

"^" refers to the person that posted previously, "<" refers to yourself, and "V" refers to the person posting below you. Obviously, these statements don't have to be the truth... but they can be, if you want them to.
