The treant ripoff, Trevenant grows in!

Who Is Trevenant?: Trevenant is a Grass/Ghost type pokemon from Kalos. It is found in Pokemon X and Y.

What does he do?: Trevenant has many powerful attacks up it's sleeve.... er.. hand. It can use Phantom Force, Shadow Ball, Leaf Blade, Grassy Terrain, and many more Grass/Ghost type attacks.

Why do I want Trevenant in smash? And what makes him likely?: For one, He has an interesting backstory with nintendo. He was revealed with the name "Oorotto." He is also cool looking and a grass type which the pokemon franchise needs.


Gameplay Style: Trevenant would play as a character that could deal massive knockback with his A attacks but can also deal lots of damage with his Specials. It would be relativley slow, similar to ike, With the projectile usage like Samus and Falco.

Moveset:

B: Energy Ball

Trevenant charges up a ball of green energy. The longer it it charged, The more damage and knockback it deals. An interesting feature of Energy Ball is that it sucks up all projectiles used against it, and Cannot be reflected.

Up B: Shadow Force

Trevenant disappears and the reappears again soon after being higher up. After re appearing, It slices in the air, dealing massive damage.

Down B: Frenzy Plant

Trevenant digs its roots into the ground and shortly after, spiky vines appear next to Trevenant. If pressed Left or Right during the startup, The vines will be farther away, making great combo game long ranged.

Trevenant would be cool to play as. Sadly, his chances are pretty much next to none.
However, he could still appear in the game in some form.

I'd much rather have Sceptile as the grass type representative for Smash 4. However, it would be fantastic if Trevenant is included as a Pokeball Pokémon.

This seems impossible, tbh. The only reason they chose Greninja was because he had a really cool design and was made to be very popular. It's highly unlikely they had any similar plans with Trevenant, though.
