Besides, you could always punish a laggy move of some kind. I've done D-Air "juggles" with Wolf and Falco; just repeatedly spike people. They go up, then down. Up, then down. Up, then down.

Then Up Smash or something for more damage.

I find that using the D-air effectively relies on your opponent messing up. Otherwise theres usually better things to do but it can land you some easy kills or weird combos like pat said.

D air can be used like Gannon's lagless D air, I do that on occasion to punish rolls with my precious DI.

If you do a full jump. You'd be suprised how big Wolf's D air hitbox is.
