Good stuff Xyro. I don't even know you I dunno why my name is coming outta your mouth. I try to keep it respectful with everyone with everyone in the community so no one can get at me. Btw, you can't use me as an example since I don't even enter Brawl tournies like that anymore, I just randomly play for kicks every now and then. Show a video of him playing Anti that way his Samus gets more cred. If ppl rate me on the millions of vids that NL shows me gettin *****, and never to ever see me actually do good when I actually cared about the game I could care less what they say.

The fact of the matter is this: your main game is Melee. A video was shown of Wes being the best Samus by beating you, an MK, who doesn't even play this game. We can therefore assume you're not that good at this game either. (We don't really have to assume that either, given the match. Your knowledge of MK's options is limited, but again, you don't play this game.)

We'd love to see a video of Wes vs. Anti. But it doesn't exist. He doesn't get any credibility by beating you. Because you're not that good. Because you don't play this game.

Trash talk or not, Xyro is still right. Unfortunately.

I dont get it

I dont understand when I keep my mouth shut people still talk ****. I merely sent the vids to Xyro cause he would ask me constantly for some vids of me. Since he wouldnt believe that I played with Samus, I never claimed to be the best with Samus nor do I care. I'm playing with Samus again just to bring her back but she isnt the only character I would use in tournament(thats just stupid) I now see why a lot of samus players quit, they dont have people trying to give each other props or some type of motivation for them to continue to play with the character. Xyro STATISTICALLY IS THE BEST SAMUS for now I put the vids out just ONLY FOR DISPLAY. I'm disappointed that I find you talking trash behind my back, be a man and tell me online why I speak to you. Now you just started war for no reason. I plan to show people's Samus potential and yes I said it Samus vs D3 isnt that bad Xyro. And btw you and no-idea can battle in a samus ditto(that means nothing) to see whos the best Samus. Its funny people go ape **** when they think someone is calling themselves the best with a character thats not even the best or close lol. Dont LET THE KING COME AND TAKE HIS CROWN BACK!!

Yeah, usmash OoS will murder samus every time she approaches an olimar's shield.

I'll watch some of them in a bit and see if I can help with anything else, or if it's just the nature of the matchup.

My advice is pretty much the same as usual. More N-air, U-tilt, slightly more D-smash instead of F-smash, etc.

Watching the vids though, and I agree on the using D-air less notion.

Oh yeah adding on to what Issy said about nair. In this MU, nair is the key to doing well. It knocks off all pikmin that are not attached to Samus's head (just uair the ones that do) and you can get through a lot of the spam quite easily.

Here is a crazy idea, not really tested but should work based off the results from this video. When you zair against olimar, instead of hitting the z button just once to shoot out the grapple, hit the Z button a couple more times rapidly to get pikmins off of you faster. Or if you nair to get pikmin off of you, press A a few more times in case one of those pikmin were on your head, as that would help remove pikmin faster without actually hitting them. I know this is small, and may taking getting used to, but may save some percents.

KJ, I agree with you, Nair is pretty key in the match for the reasons you mentioned.

Xyro, I haven't watched all the vids yet, but I'll try to post some suggestions soon. Ismar is pretty much spot on though for the matchup in general.

edit: i just remember a good advice I think ~~NOID~~ gave once. Grounded smash missiles work pretty well in this matchup as they tend to poke olimar's shield.

In reference to a different MU Muz (Marth MU).

Most practical Olimars will be holding their shield up from being so used to the MK MU, or clash pikmin with super missiles. Best time to use a grounded would only be when you read a pull from Olimar. However, the positioning from landing it and the damage is worth the investment.

Even then, I'd stick predominantly to z-air.

EDIT: I'll discuss the videos with you in depth later, but for everyone else to see:

STOP ****ING USING FALLING U-AIR AND D-AIR IN THIS MU. Be glad Angbad is practically the only Olimar I've ever seen not SPAM u-smash OoS.
