I don't know about that. It looks pretty dark there.

Ridley is probably firing those arrows. From his mouth. Fire, Plasma, and Arrows. These are the weapons in Ridley's oral arsenal.

My guess is that if Ridley does make it in as playable, he won't be released until we are closer to the holidays, which I hope for Europe's sake that it comes out around then for them, too.

As for the Ridley challenger- why do you think he sucks so badly? Ridley could be more than just a dumb dragon ripoff- he could be a really fierce, unforgiving, animalistic charater with cruelly brutal moves. I could totally see him letting out a screech as he snaps his jaws on the opponent and rips into their neck with his claws. Kickass!
In fact, if any character is more like a generic dragon character, its PT's Charizard.

Ridley is the perfect choice for brawl I've supported him forever and I never got a chance to post. Ridley is perfect for the roster and I saw a lot of good attacks he could have from playing metroid prime 3. He was only a little bigger than samus is what I recall. Maybe as big as Bowser.

p.s. It would be an honer to join club r.i.d.l.e.y.

I think Ridley fits perfectly into the world of smash. he's heavy, he glides, and as we can tell from Metroid Prime, is good at both ground and arial combat. He seems to be tro be a bit lighter then other charaters, but have amazing strength and mobility in the air.
