Does anyone know how to embed .dsp's binary longer than original into .ssm files ?

I could embed a certain dsp files' binary shorter than the original .dsp file's into a certain .ssm file.

I tried enbeding by forcing inserting binary longer than the original's.
But the audio was weird.

It can be understood, because the information of dep's track was stired by inserting longer binary, I think.

Does anyone know make longer .ssm files correctly?
It seems that there are information of .dsp's track in the beginning of .ssm file's binary...

( I have already known how to replace longer files with original files using GC Rebuilder. )
( So what I need is only how to "make" longer .ssm files used longer .dsp's binary. )

Sorry, noob here, but I'm really confused - how do I put these into my Melee folder for DiOS MiOS? There's ssm files, yeah, but I'm not sure what to do from there, as all of these downloads are HPS files.

Alright so I got over being dumb and figured out there were indeed hps files in there, but now after a minute or so of playing on a stage with modded music, the game just freezes with the infamous screeching noise of the Wii.. Any help? I'm using DiOS MiOS with an extracted Melee iso, I deleted the Howto and Omake videos (then replaced them with other ones) so maybe that's part of the problem?

the character victory melodies are .hps. A lot of them are reused though, like ff_link.hps is used by zelda. The names of the HPS are (im pretty sure) just called ff_****.hps where **** is the japanese name of the character.

If I want to get something like "smoke weed everyday" punch, the file is just called "ganonweed.ssm". Is it not like with skins, that I have to replace the original .ssm file for warlock punch? How do I know what that is called?

I had this same question a while back..Ganon's ssm file is ganon.ssm in root/audio. if i'm not mistaken, that's the one you replace

Whenever I replace the hps file I made with a song over around 1:30 in length, the game crashes after a minute. But with a song under this length, the game loops the song. I used the swm_15min.hps like used in other tutorial videos. Does anyone else have this problem or know why this occurs?

Nope. I recently looped a 7 minute HPS, so I don't know what the problem is, unless you looped it wrong.

This happened to me the first time I made a song. The problem for me was that I just tried to use my computer's file system to replace the file in the GALE01 folder. I didn't realize I had to use GCR to edit the .iso and make a new GALE01 folder from in there.

Also, I have some HPS files I made and thought I'd post them in case anyone else wanted to try them out. A lot of them are anime related but there are some more universal ones mixed in. Should I use mediafire to share them?
