Well, it makes sense if you think about it on the big scale. Palutena has had one real stand out role from a game that came out a year ago, and Krystal has been in multiple games since 2001. And, Krystal is still in front of Palutena.

Meh, I personally dislike the idea of kid icarus getting a second rep at all. I feel like its quite the upstart series. One, exactly one game after years of neglect, and suddenly it's the front page of smash bros? Series from the 64 version still only have 1 rep. I'd prefer new series be represented, or other more deserving series get more reps than some retro revival. I've never played the star fox krystal was in, and I'm not saying starfox deserves 4 reps this quickly, but I'm sure saying kid icarus doesn't deserve 2.

No, I was just pointing out something on Krystal.

The "leak" is shaky at best for a few reasons, but I wont go into it here. Sakurai is very conservative about third party characters and has come out and said Namco doesn't get any special treatment. With that said, it's unlikely Pac-Man will be playable given his weak popularity and lack of distinct abilities. His moveset potential is anything characters can already do unlike Snake Sonic and Megaman who have a lot of unique abilities and attributes.
