Awww.... Thanks, Tofer. :D

@Ill: Omg. What kind of person doesn't know third eye blind when they hear it?

Listening to these songs is like a 90s flashback. . . I like it. I was looking for new (or old) music to listen to.

Anyways, I thought this would be pretty cool - and I wanted to see how popular these indie songs are for people who know nothing about the artist/album. Most of these songs are ones that have skimmed the mainstream world by appearing in commercials, movies, or maybe even the radio at times. All these songs have appeared on highly acclaimed albums over the past like fifty years too which is pretty cool. I added the artist and what album the song appears on in case you're interested in checking them out.

Try to see how many of these songs you have heard before, but didn't know the name or artist so just disregarded the song altogether.

Me and some of my friends are FIENDS for the nostalgia.

Sometimes we have like teenage angst nights where we listen to loads of Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, System, Korn etc.
my heart just broke

I'd heard them all Illmatic :) Edit: well there were some that I knew from other things they'd been in, but didn't know the original.

Last week I saw two awesome bands (Reptar and Tennis) live and it was so awesome. Lately I've been super into surf music. This is a pretty good example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSCXkUfmLQc
