Tech chasing spacies and the shine

so I've noticed a lot of spacies will tech-> shine after a dthrow which is pretty good at disrupting my tech-chase and stopping me from getting the regrab

what do people like to do against that? can you dash attack against it ? downsmash?

or should one just spot-dodge -> regrab

I don't remember what frame stationary tech ends (on my phone so I can't check), but the invincibility for every char except Pikachu and Pichu ends frame 20, 24 for those two. Grabbing by reaction is difficult but is the best option if you can

If less sure, a mix up you can use is jab -> grab as it is quicker and will clank with shine. Not a true combo, but if you only use it occasionally, they may miss their options to escape from it.

Yeah, but you have to be fast and it takes a lot of practice.

and what are some other mix-ups that work. i like jab. can downsmash/dash-attack beat/clank the shine?

Nothing can beat shine, as it is frame 1 and has invincibility on that frame.

The trick is just to be quicker. Stuff like jab and smash may only work because they are quicker than a grab and you are being slightly slow.
