Submit a Halloween Stage Variation
It has been a while since we have done stage variations with our Undertale and Retro Festivals preventing these sort of additions but we are busting them back out. Here were our previous stage variations which will be made available again but we will be adding to that list:
- Luigi's Mansion (become more Halloween'ish)
- Mushroom Kingdom U
- WarioWare, Inc.
- Smashville
Please submit the stage followed by how it will look compared to usual. Any non-DLC stage is ok.
Now.....
Time for our controversial job and THIS is NOT an April Fools Joke.....
As we know, wearing costumes is a thing for Halloween and generic costumes like ninjas, wizards, pirates, and so on are popular picks and so are popular culture characters with our very own Mario, Luigi, and Peach being popular choices as well as Master Chief and Steve. I am sad I didn't see a Sephiroth costume... I will pay parents to get their kid into a Seph costume.... Anyways, some of these popular culture characters includes Darth Vader, Mickey Mouse, Batman, and so on but.... this year, I saw a lot of....
MARVEL
Yes.... Marvel is finally coming to Smash Bros. The reason why I say this was controversial was because I felt people would want to put which franchise we include to a vote but also Spiderman is a popular pick for a possible 4th party character IF we ever get to that point. Spiderman is quite popular in Japan. That being said, I feel including Marvel as Halloween costumes is very fitting considering it is still quite popular. Given the fact this is a crossover event, we will be including more than one costume and, since we are shelling out money for this, probably more than 3.
Submit a Marvel Mii Costume
Now, there is a catch:
The Marvel character MUST have appeared in the Marvel vs Capcom series at some point in time.
This is because a tie in with Morrigan who consistently appears in these titles which was another reason why I did this. Now, couple things....
Is X-Men allowed? YES but we are limiting X-Men to 1 or 2 costume slots so pick the most popular ones. (cough Wolverine cough)
Is Fantastic Four allowed? No unless it's Super Skrull.
When submitting, please provide the following information:
- Character
- Affiliated Series (Avengers, Iron-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc)
- Mii Class and how the costume affects the weapon
- JUST WHY THIS CHARACTER GETS TO REPRESENT AN ENTIRE COMPANY
But wait....there's more!
Given this is a huge crossover of MARVELOUS proportions....
Each Mii Costume comes with a secondary costume which is a variation of their established appearance! For example, Hulk and Red Hulk, Iron Man and Superior Iron Man, Wolverine and Weapon X. The goal of is to add a costume of the character instead of replacing it with an entirely new one. For example, Iron Man and War Machine and Hulk and Abomination.
That being said, you can include a costume variation of a character who two people share that "title" throughout history. For example, Thor and Jane Foster's Thor or Peter Parker Spiderman vs Miles Morales SPiderman. Finally, while it may be hard to resist due to the nature of the festival, we won't be submitting zombie variations of these characters. We are also avoiding Movie adaptations but focusing on more comicbook/MVC versions.
TLDR:
- We are submitting Marvel Mii Costume
- One costume per person
- Adding between 3 to 5 costumes
- Provide a name, series, Mii class, and a small explanation why this should be considered/chosen
- X-Men is allowe (including 1 or o2 X-Men)
- No Fantastic Four
- Also submit a costume variation as each one will have their own...
- Provide an image
- Variations CANNOT swap Mii Classes. They stick to their Parent Costume
- Can be a superhero title shared by more than one person (Thor and Jane Foster Thor)
- Can't be an entirely different character (Iron Man and Ironheart)
- Can't be a zombie or movie version of that character
