Well guys, you asked for it...
Here it is, my 100% legit entry for the Zelda Wii U round, in spite of that round having ended long ago!
Welcome to the island of
Koridai!
This is the main stage. As always, black line is where you can stand. It is a FD layout that takes place on Gwonam's Magic Carpet. In the background, you can see the faces of evil. So scary.
After a little bit, with a "Squadallah!" from Gwonam to signal the change, the magic carpet flies off, taking the combatants to one of the areas within Koridai; Gonoru!
The pic in the corner is for reference (since I'm sure none of you have played enough of this game to be familiar with the areas). Black lines are where you can stand, white can be dropped through. And no, the bridge on the right is not part of the stage. Just background.
Anyways, while in this area, there is a chance of Morshu walking out of his shop. If he does, get ready, because he will soon start throwing bombs all over the stage. Sorry, guys. He doesn't give credit. You should have come back when you were (mmm) richer, because now he's making you pay for it.
Anyways, after a bit, the carpet returns, and takes the players to the next area; Harlequin Bazaar!
Black can be stood on, white dropped through. Per usual. On this stage, there is a chance that the giant... puppet? I don't know what it is, really, I just thought the area looked cool. Anyways, there's a chance that it will move it's arms around, making the base platform tilt at an angle, his hand become more level, and his lip tilting in the opposite direction.
Once more, after a bit, the carpet returns, taking you to the next lokcation; Nortinka!
This time, green is the drop through platforms, because there's a lot of snow on this stage, so I wanted the platforms to stand out more. No gimmicks for this one, except that the top two platforms have ice physics, so watch out!
A bit later, the carpet returns, taking you to the fourth are of the stage; Firestone Lake!
Back to the black and white lines, you know what they do. Lava rocks may occasionally fall from the top of this stage, causing minor damage to those hit. The water at the bottom acts like lava, so be wary, or you'll get burned!
Next up, the carpet takes you to a pretty cool looking area in the game - Shipwreck Cliff!
This time, back to the black and green lines, to make the drop through platform stand out from the sail. the rocks below are not platforms, by the way. Here, there's no gimmick. Mostly because I don't know enough about this game to think of something cool to put here. Whatever, this part is fine on it's own.
Last, the carpet takes you to one final place from the game - Spearfish Falls!
Black and white lines again. You know the drill. Here the gimmick is... uh... I don't know... how about some water splashing up over the bridge, pushing you towards the edges? Yeah, that sounds good. Probably something that could happen here. I don't know.
After this stage, the carpet takes you back to the front of the island, and the whole thing starts all over again.
joy.
Eh, in all seriousness though, this was a pretty interesting stage to make. There are some surprisingly cool areas from such a bad game, makes me wonder what could have happened if the team behind it had actually tried to make something great. Whatever, though. Take this stage as you like, I'll see you when the metroid grades come up!
Also, here's a song for the stage, because it's actually a pretty cool song.
