Such great tracks, and I agree with you, I'm amazed neither of these tracks ever showed up in either game, especially in Brawl that was already filled to the brim with music.
I remember this game, and the track is so good. Takes me back to my childhood.
Hell yeah That Metal Mario song is so boss. To bad I was never good enough to make it Past samus and onto metal Mario's stage on anything but easy. But I would just pause the game and jam out to that.
I can agree with this list, especially the MK7 Rainbow Road. Isn't Waluigi Pinball already in Brawl though? So they could just import that to Smash 4.
Needs more DKC2 and DKC3 in my opinion, whether it's Hornet Hole, Castle Crush, or Web Woods for DKC2, and Treetop Tumble, Rockface Rumble, or Hot Pursuit for DKC3, those tracks are very memorable. I can also say Bramble Blast, but they already have that track in Brawl, unless they do another remix that actually sounds like the SNES version.
Don't forget Skyward Sword.
Lots of Return to Dreamland. Not that there's a problem with that, since we have a crap ton of Kirby tracks spanning nearly all other games anyway.
Regarding Waluigi Pinball, you're referring to the one from Mario Kart DS. The version that I inputted is from Mario Sports Mix.

Just about any battle track from Xenoblade would be excellent. I'm still more preferential to Time to Fight! You can tell it's a Shimomura track, because it has her quintessential Legend of Mana/Kingdom Heart vibe. Fast paced percussion, heavy keys, and the violin and oboe carrying the lead melody. Just perfect.

X- Tunnel Scene. Wasn't that made by composer Totaka? Creator of Nintendo's infamous Totaka's Song?
They could pull out the version from Animal Crossing and play it on an AC stage at Saturday nights, with a very reduced chance of appearing or... by activating a special easter egg or something.
I'd like to see the music from Asteroid Coaster and Starlight Carnival's Bosses too.
WOOOOW! Its good to know Kid Icarus will get amazing music and remixes for the new Smash. The old songs just werent cuttting it on Brawl.
