Strange lag spikes?

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing strange random lag spikes during wifi matches? This includes people who live nearby that you've played many times before, and experienced no lag at all in the past. for the past week or two, in matches with a friend of mine who is located very close to me, I've noticed random lag/slowdown that seems to just come and go. This has never happened before. anyone else noticing something like this? Thanks in advance.

Make sure you and your buddy don't have anything eating your bandwidth Like torrents or updates, If its someone you play all the time it might be something running in the background.

are you sure its not the move you do...like zeldas bair (back air) if that hits you time stops for a sec....this happens in a bunch of moves...

that my good fellow is a freeze frame. sakurai thought it would be cool to have the game stop when you do certain moves.
