Sss freezes when selecting an added stage

Hello, im a bit of noob and im having trouble with my SSS. i used the stage expansion 2.0 but when i choose a stage itll freeze sometimes. i thought it was the stage itself but it happend with multiple stages. for example i selected the castlevania clock tower and it froze. can any1 tell me how i can stop this from happening so i can play with no problems? i would really appreciate your help.

Are you using Riivolution?

No im not, im running it through Gecko OS. it worked before, but it just doesnt work with some stages like the castlevania clock tower or the artic realm

Do you have the .rel files in the module folder?

yeah i do. i made sure. what could be the problem?
