I know how to hack it etc.
I just need a list of what .dat file is what. I've been searching around forums and google and cant find a list.

The reason for this is because im using SleepyK's prehacked iso. But i don't like some of the stuff yet still want to keep some. But i dont know what is what so i cant exactly take some out.

'ey there i_Pichu, trust me... it's not as complex as it looks. Take a second to figure out that a lot of the files are abbreviated (Pl = Player; Ps = Pokemon Stadium; etc.), small things like that... and you'll be on your way in no time. Quite literally, it becomes Common Sense stuff, once you get used to it. :)

But still... if you're having trouble figuring out characters, then this is pretty much all you need to look for:

PlBo.dat
...
PlBoNr.dat = Male Wireframe (Boy)

PlCa.dat
...
PlCaWh.dat = Captain Falcon

PlCh.dat
...
PlChNr.dat = Crazy Hand

PlCl.dat
...
PlClWh.dat = Young Link (Clink/Child Link)

PlCo.dat = "Common"; contains mainly shared effect files for characters

PlDk.dat
...
PlDkRe.dat = Donkey Kong

PlDr.dat
...
PlDrRe.dat = Dr. Mario

PlFc.dat
...
PlFcRe.dat = Falco

PlFe.dat
...
PlFeYe.dat = Roy (Emblem/Fire Emblem)

PlFx.dat
...
PlFxOr.dat = Fox

PlGk.dat
...
PlGkNr.dat = Giga Bowser (Giga Koopa)

PlGl.dat
...
PlGlNr.dat = Female Wireframe (Girl)

PlGn.dat
...
PlGnRe.dat = Ganondorf

PlGw.dat
...
PlGwNr.dat = Mr. Game & Watch (Gamewatch)

PlKb.dat
...
PlKbYeCpPr.dat = Kirby [includes all Kirby hats; Cp = cap]

PlKp.dat
...
PlKpRe.dat = Bowser (Koopa)

PlLg.dat
...
PlLgWh.dat = Luigi

PlLk.dat
...
PlLkWh.dat = Link

PlMh.dat
...
PlMhNr.dat = Master Hand

PlMr.dat
...
PlMrYe.dat = Mario

PlMs.dat
...
PlMsWh.dat = Marth (Mars)

PlMt.dat
...
PlMtRe.dat = Mewtwo

PlNn.dat
...
PlNnYe.dat = Nana/Ice Climbers

PlNs.dat
...
PlNsYe.dat = Ness

PlPc.dat
...
PlPcRe.dat = Pichu

PlPe.dat
...
PlPeYe.dat = Peach

PlPk.dat
...
PlPkRe.dat = Pikachu

PlPp.dat
...
PlPpRe.dat = Popo/Ice Climbers

PlPr.dat
...
PlPrYe.dat = Jigglypuff (Purin)

PlSb.dat
...
PlSbNr.dat = Sandbag

PlSk.dat
...

The colors CAN be a bit tricky, but if you manage to decode one or two costumes, then the rest are just easy guesses.
I generally use this page, to figure out what colors I know, and which ones have "special" abbreviations for them (like Aq = Aqua).

But, from what I gather, these are what you have to look out for.

AJ = IGNORE; not a color file, contains animation/model stuff, or something rather~

Nr = Normal (Default color for character; i.e. Red Mario; Green Bowser; Green Yoshi; Red/Pink Peach; etc.)
Bu = Blue
Gr = Green
Gy = Grey
Re = Red
Wh = White
Bk = Black (or Brown)
Ye = Yellow
La = Lavender (Blue Team alt; varies)
Or = Orange (Red Team alt; varies)
Aq = Aquamarine (Blue Team alt; varies)
Pi = Pink (Red Team alt; varies)

To figure out a character's color, it works something like this... Takes a bit of common sensing out costumes, and/or just lucky stabs:

So if you wanted to find Captain Falcon's pink-and-white texture, you'd look for:
PlCaWh.dat
~~~
Pl = Player
Ca = Captain Falcon
Wh = his White-and-Pink texture
Or, Mario's brown-and-white costume:
PlMrBk.dat
~~~
Pl = Player
Mr = Mario
Bk = Black
...Yeah, don't know why they labeled his Brown one Black, but that's why I say... just check which colors exist, and which colors appear missing, and if they appear close to whatever colors are left over... you'll get 'em. :)
