Smash Journeyman
I know what you're thinking. Spongebob ain't a video game character, he's a cartoon character. Well on the smash ballot website, it says video game character. It doesn't say character that originates from video games specifically. Spongebob appears in video games also therefore he's also a video game character too. Here are some potential moveset.
Neutral B : spongebob holds a jellyfish jar In front of him, catching any projectiles. This move works similar to villager.
Side B: Spongebob gets in a boat and since he is terrible at driving , he can't control it. Really strong but little distance. Similar to Jr's kart dash.
Down B: spongebob either cries or sings. This causes the opponent to cover their ears. This is your opportunity to strike.
Recovery: spongebob flies holding on to a jellyfish. It's like snakes. Has super armor. Also has a electric hitbox
Entrance: Gets off a boat.
Idle: plays his nose like a flute.
Victory 1: does his thumbs up while winking
Victory 2: rides on gary
Victory 3: laughs alot. The ultimate disrespect.
