The Final Story was a fun implementation of all the characters.

Cannon's Core was ok. The fact that if you die you have to start ALL the way from the beginning is really aggravating. And some of the characters sections in that level were OBNOXIOUS (Knuckles anyone?). And the Biolizard boss fights were SO frustrating.

I got used to Cannon's Core. What I like best about it was the music in the Tails/Eggman portions of the level.

But it's the ONLY level I haven't fully A-Ranked yet.

My god. Every Sonic fan in here is garbage at SA2.
Treasure hunting was fun as ****, and the shooting stages were fine as long as you didn't suck ****. :applejack:

Treasure hunting wasn't the best but I enjoyed them. I actually love the **** out of Meteor Herd. Exploring that was amazing. Such a cool level.

The shooting stages are fine just like, slower and the beep sound is obnoxious.

Ugh like 90% of the treasure hunting missions were way too big and it was incredibly easy to get lost. The nerfed emerald radar sure doesn't help either. The mech missions were ok.

I honestly enjoyed more Sonic Adventure than Sonic Adventure 2 as a full game. Don't get me wrong, I will still play the **** ouf of Sonic's and Shadow's stages in Adventure 2. But Adventure 1 with Sonic you had every single level for yourself. And I found a Super Sonic mod that is pretty amazing and it lets you go in the water *.*

I liked getting all the way to the top of Meteor Herd and doing one giant drop back to the bottom.

Being a kid was awesome.

Actually, most of Sonic fans do hate Meteor Herd and Mad Space. So we aren't really alone. And I hate the levels because I actually hated playing though them. Such a pain gliding all over the place in such a big and boring level DX.

Most of the Sonic fans are ass at video games then. Meteor Herd and Mad Space were child's play. :applejack:

It wasn't because the level was hard. It was just so damn boring.

Really..., emerald hunting was just simple memorisation and a basic understanding of the controls. Once you've played the level enough times to know the shard spawns and how to get around the map, finding them was easy with just the indicator and no hints. Easy-A

And yeah, Meteor Herd was the bomb :D

I do like the presentation of those later emerald-hunting stages. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who climbed all the way to the top of Meteor Herd to drill-dive all the way back down! Thank you Cam for validating my weird side. =D

But I gotta be honest - I feel like the emerald-hunting levels, the way they were designed, make actually hunting for emeralds a chore. It's a "conflicting prime directives" kind of thing. On one hand, you've got a wide-open sandbox to screw around in at your leisure, which is good and fun! But on the other hand, you have to search for specific things within that sandbox, on a time limit if you're going for score. Practice makes perfect, yes, but first-timers, bandwagoners, and "eff"ing casuals will always complain about these levels.

I do have one legit complaint, though, with the first Rouge level. I had to chase down the last emerald in the water tunnel that you have to ride on a turtle to get through or else it pushes you out. You know what I'm talking about, where you have to time getting on the turtle just right so the emerald runs into you as you're passing through? Figuring out the timing on that BS almost made me late for work. >=(

People are deprived if they didn't have the urge or sense of adventure to do that. It was my instinct.

It seems that there weren't any gameplay changes as old replays are still playable (AFAIK, as I haven't turned on my Wii U for like 2 weeks now).
