While I can't honestly say I wouldn't be mad that he took up a slot, I would pay good money for DLC of Hawlucha.

As a 6th Pokemon character, he would be one of the best choices in my opinion.
That means after Brawl plus Mewtwo.

Ah, March. Sadly, Hawlucha's chances were kinda shot down by Greninja, but maybe DLC? I hope that he appears somehow, be it as a pokeball pokemon or even just a trophy.

I think Hawlucha would've been cool. Give him cool Flying Moves, maybe his Down-B could be Sky Drop, like Bowser's Down-B, except maybe he carries a player with him.

I don't believe this supposed leak, but if it were true, Hawlucha would be DLC. It would at least make good discussion.

Despite the long line of pokecandidates, I would love Hawlucha; and I kinda imagine him working like El Fuerte from SFIV. Makes me want to hear his theme every time Hawlucha is in a match.
