Ok lets be honest, pokefloats as im sure many people have stated on here before, DESERVES to be a legal stage. Pokefloats is just the next stage to add a little more flavor to competetive play. I believe it should be a legal stage in both doubles and singles, but if not singles atleast doubles. If you think about it, it would be a good strategy based level and is perfect for doubles, with multipul platforms and plenty of space for 4 players, you would really have to think about how you would go about playing the match and winning. I also believe melee has gone a long time without change aswell and this would really spice up tournaments and make things more interesting. Who else believes in this aswell?

Diversity doesn't always improve something. The stage is terribly designed for fighting on. Going from 1 float to the one your opponent is standing on is too disadvantageous. It's more of a moving open playground for tag than a stage to fight on

For one thing, :bowsermelee: is absolutely ****ed on Poké Floats
:ganondorfmelee: and :dkmelee: may also have trouble.

Also, that you need to keep jumping between floats means that you often need to use your up-b to stay alive, so any characters with recovery moves not conducive to the environment (:falcomelee:, :nessmelee:, maybe :luigimelee:) are at a clear disadvantage.

The stage can shut down characters so hard that it couldn't be a reasonable counterpick.

Wanting poke floats legal for variety is simular to not wanting to see leffen vs armada fox ditto to watch 2 new players puff ditto.

Yeah it's not something you'll see often but it's less interesting and lasts long enough for people to notice it is.

i mean marth vs fox on fd is usually an auto lose for fox, this could be a very serious counterpick rather than just a funner map, say you are facing a puff, sure puff will get some ariel mobillity but there are also a lot of place to tech so she will lose her rest, most of the time.
