With Joker, how many god-killers we have now in Smash?

Well, Kirby, Shulk, Ike, Cloud, Bayonetta, pit.

Give or take a few depending on how hard you define "god"

First Noipoi gets Incineroar in Smash, and now you've gotten Joker. This is the year of the underdogs it seems.

If this was truly the year of the underdogs, I would have gotten Bomberman and/or Vaati, @Fuzzy Pickles! would have gotten Bomberman, N N. Onymous would have gotten Lip, Dyllybirdy would have gotten Rottytops Yellowlord would have gotten Shantae, Luigi The President would have gotten Geno, and Delzethin would have gotten Lycanroc. Don't even get me started on Isaac or Banjo.

Also this makes me believe in Sora more than ever. No one knows the DLC characters, and no one will likely ever know the DLC characters until they're revealed. Nintendo jebaited every single insider tonight by making people think Metroid Prime 4, and then hitting them with the Last Surprise, Joker in Smash Bros. In fact, people saying it isn't Sora outright makes me believe it MORE given that we now know Nintendo is capable of actually spreading misinformation within their ranks.

Honestly Joker feels like the least underdog "Underdog" character they could have chosen, I've been seeing very little negative reaction towards him. More surprise followed by absolute joy or simple acceptance.

I'm still feeling good about Banjo, it's probably safe to say that everything we've heard should be shoved off the table into the garbage can with maybe the exception of the SE character.

I'm hesitant to even say that they'll show him off in the token Jan/Feb Direct, yet it seems like they would at the same time.

Yeah, I'm wondering who people think will be DLC at this point. I'm kind of at a loss. Though this does seem to confirm that there will likely be a pack 2, otherwise naming it pack 1 seems a little odd.

I can't decide if Banjo's chances are better or worse now. Better in the sense that characters that Nintendo seemingly has no reason to support are getting in, but also worse because he would be sort of expected now.

I still think a Dragon Quest character has a good shot. And now I think Sora actually has a chance as well, whereas I had kind of written him off previously. Maybe Crash is a possibility? Otherwise who else is there? Travis Touchdown? Maybe that guy who leaked Dante a while ago wasn't wrong... Also I guess Steve is a possibility. And Lloyd or Yuri.

Whew, lads.

Just had a great 1 1/2 hours going through co-op classic modes with my sister, just having some fun and unlocking the characters we wanted. She enjoyed it a lot, and I'm pretty sure she has a crush on Ike lol. This game has a bright future ahead of it for the things it can accomplish, I can't wait to keep on playing this weekend.

I was thinking of putting Master Hand, but thought "there has to be a better fitting Final Boss for P5's final enemy".

But yeah, Master Hand (and Crazy Hand?) do fit pretty well anyway.

Xenother is pretty much the only person sticking to his guns on Steve still. Hitagi isn't sure anymore after our most recent reveal, and Verg still has yet to go beyond the vague claim of "Minecraft content", nor has he said for sure that it isn't just a boss.
