So... What is yall's current stance on the Erdrick-Ryu2-Steve-Doomguy leak?

I like the choices since it covers many bases in terms of what Third Party choices people would be interested in, but I won't deny that I feel the rumor sets off a number of red flags.

-The rumor is aware of when all of the DLC characters will be revealed, which would be a first since not even rumors that got the most characters like Gematsu knew when every character was coming.
-They're saying all but one will be revealed by or at E3, even though the package is officially stated to go off into next year.
-They say that Steve was pushed off into DLC for promotional reasons, which would be strange because it not only doesn't fit Sakurai's habits in character choices, but it also isn't supported by what we know from actual data.
-Finally, there's the weird circumstances of where the rumor actually comes from as 5chan says it's originally from Reddit, but nothing has popped up on Reddit from what I recall.

It's a mixture of good ideas attached to a strange scenario of circumstances, and considering that none of its exclusive characters have had any hints towards them yet it makes the package a bit hard to swallow at the moment.

Oh and since the topic is kinda up, I'm from Poland and it's about 1:30 pm over here.

I don't buy in to that rumor just yet so i'm in the camp that believes it's piggybacking off things in the rumor mill. (Hitagi, Verge, etc.)

That being said, I believe Erdrick and Steve are very likely to happen regardless of this leak. Well much more so Erdrick given the datamine but Steve has a lot going for him due to insider comments about him. Hayabusa and Doomguy I don't buy at all. Nothing supporting them outside said rumor which I believe is sketchy AF.

I don't know but I wouldn't be surprised if it sold like **** as the Switch version got delayed for like 6 months and before it finally came out they announced the entire trilogy for the other systems

I think a Dark Souls character is likely, but I think it'd be Artorias instead of Solaire. The fact that Solaire just got an Amiibo would make him a little redundant, though I wouldn't be surprised if it was him. But Artorias is still very popular and has some interesting things going for him.

Some folks have theorized that Brave could also refer to Yuri Lowell from the Tales series. Don't know much about it but I know someone who would be super hyped for that to happen.

Also, a Bandai Namco character was rumored to happen by Hitagi IIRC.
