No Joker makes sense Persona is too big of a game both in Japan and in the US they needed a rep in at least one Smash game and since he's the newest Persona rep it's not that he wasn't likely it's just that not a lot of people were actually talking about it. I was talking to some friends of mine about additions we could get to the game and Joker came up very high up on that list a few times. For some reason people just kinda forgot how popular Persona is when deciding characters... that an welp... bias let's be real with ourselves here. But ya Joker deserves his spot we needed a Persona rep of some kind.

One of the challenges is for playing an 8-Player Smash (obviously), that's not the funny thing.

The funny bit is that the image is a picture of 8 Popos.

Almost like Sakurai knew that 8-Player Ice Climbers is something people would do (I just did "8P Ice Climbers on Fountain of Dreams").

That may be true (I'm still expecting at least one marketing character), but Joker's inclusion is definitely going to throw us speculators for a loop. That's for sure.

I don't think Joker is that surprising of a pick. At least not in the same way as Cloud was in Smash 4. He would have been on my Shortlist for a Sega Rep. Joker was surprising mainly because I didn't even think it was a Smash Trailer. That **** just caught me off guard.
