Some of the challenges are impossible unless you rig them. I tried alone and when I'm close to a challenge some bull happens. Like the Metroid one.. The metroid takes my stat boosts then teleports right next to the CPUs... Ugh

I did exactly that. I put four controllers in front of me, put some music on, and rocked that sh*t. :p

I managed to get all of those challenges fairly quickly. The only annoying one was the one to start the final battle with 10 fighters, because the CPU almost ALWAYS pulls some bull**** right at the end to bust you down from 9 fighters to 3 in the space of two moves. For the rest, it mainly comes down to luck.

The Metroid challenge was horrible. Thankfully I have four controllers but it still took around 150 turns for the Metroids to show up. I was so sick of controlling four players by then.

Yeah, just use three other controllers and control everyone. Still is a painful experience to play that awful mode, but at least this makes it easier. The Metroid one can go die.

I managed to get all of the Smash Run challenges complete just last week. The one where I had to start the final battle with 10 or more fighters was a total pain in the ***. The Metroid stealing your stats from you and getting it back was no different. I vowed to never go through all that bull**** again.

This was my very last challenge. I thought I was in for the long haul when I was controlling four people, but the metroid showed up at turn 10 and it was done. It ran into me while I was making everyone else dodge it, then one space and DONE. Challenges complete... With hammers.... I ALMOST used one on this one just because it was so irritating, but decided on the 700 trophies instead.

From what I hear, it's a waste to use a hammer on collection challenges, like the 700 figure one. It doesn't give you any figures; it only clears the challenge and gives you the reward.
