- Brawl I, MK legalGAME SETTINGS:
Stocks: 3
Timer: 08:00 minutes
Items are set to OFF and NONE
Pause: OFF
Before Game One
1. One player is chosen at random, via a Coin toss, a Rock-Paper-Scissors game, or whatever method they agree. Winner chooses if either chooses Ports first or makes the First Stage Strike*. The non-chosen option is given to the other part.
2. If needed, any Controller adjustments and settings are made.
3. Players select their characters.
3.1. If this selection isn't made quickly, a Double Blind Pick may be called (telling their choice to a judge, both MUST choose the character they told him/her they would).
4. Stage Striking procedure begins.*
4.1. If both parts agree, they can choose any stage to play in, instead of doing the whole Strike procedure.
5. Game starts in the stage chosen in 4.
The Game
-The one who loses their 3 stocks first Loses de Game.
-Stalling (the act of deliberately avoiding any and all conflict for long periods) is banned.**
-Any Glitch/Bug/Exploit that can be used to stall out the timer excessively, or that causes any game malfunction, interruption or freeze, is forbidden.**
-Any Lock/Infinite must end as soon as possible after reaching 300%. Otherwise, it might be considered as stalling.
-If the timer runs out, the one with more Stocks left is declared the winner. If both are the same, the one with less damage is the winner. If still even, a Rematch Game*** is played.
-If a Sudden Death is forced because of both players finishing their stocks at the same time, a Rematch Game*** is played.
-In the event of a Timeout, a player may call the revision of the “Ledge Grabs” statistic at the results screen. If a player exceeds 45 Ledge Grabs (30 for Meta Knight), the victory is given to their opponent. If both both exceeded their limit, the one with less exceeding Ledge Grabs is considered the winner. If neither did, the stock-damage rule is followed. If both are still tied after that, winner is chosen at random. If a player does not allow this statistic to be revised, the win may be assigned to their opponent.
After Game One
1. Loser may ask for rearrange controller ports, choosing his/hers first.
2. Winner can announce 1 stage ban from the Stagelist. This stage cannot be selected during the rest of the Set.
3. Loser choses a Stage from the Stagelist, except if it was banned in 2 or if it was already been played during the Set.
4. Winner chooses character.
5. Loser chooses character.
6. Next game starts.
7. Repeat as many times as necessary until the Best-of-3 or Best-of-5 is decided.
*** "Infinite Dimensional Cape" is an example of these.
** A Rematch Game is made in order to get a winner for the previous match by starting a 1-stock, 3-minutes game, with the same characters, on the same stage it was.
If a player loses his/her stock, loses the game.
If rematch ends with the timer, the one with less damage is declared as the winner. Also, both players are subject of the "Ledge Grabs Limit" rules already stated before, changing this limit to 15, regardless their characters. If they are still tied, winner is chosen at random.
* For Stage Striking, the usage of the Random Stage Screen is recommended, by turning every stage on the Legal list as “on”, and then change them to "off" as they are stroke. The goal of this is remove, one by one, all stages until only one is left. The order 1-2-2-2-2-1; that means that, from the given 11 stage list, the first player strikes 1, then, from the 10 stages left the second player strikes 2; then the first player strikes 2, the second one 2, the first 2 and finally, the second one strikes 1. If done correctly, there should be only 1 stage left.
StageList:
01- Battlefield
02- Final Destination
03- Delfino Plaza
04- Frigate Orpheon
05- Yoshi's Island (Brawl)
06- Halberd
07- Lylat Cruise
08- Pokémon Stadium 2
09- Castle Siege
10- Smashville
11- Pokémon Stadium (Melee)
WORTH NOTING:
-No stage can be played more than one time per set.
-45 LGL, 30 for MK.
-15 Global LGL for rematches.
-Winner chosen at random if LGL is exceeded and tied, or they both tied after a rematch. Choosing a winner at random Is only a last resort, realistically (and hopefully) it will probably not even be necessary. - Brawl II, MK bannedGAME SETTINGS:

**** If MK is the result of picking Random, match gets restarted by removing all 3 stocks, in the same previously agreed stage. If both picked random and only one got MK, both must stay Random for the next game.

-BYOC (Bring your own controller) and have it ready for any moment you may be needed.
-Only Authorized Personnel can synchronize Wii Remote Controllers to a Console. Players who use one have to ask an staff member to do so whenever it is needed, also, the player must take the batteries out of the Remote when not playing (if the Wii Remote is still synced up to a Wii with the batteries in, you could unintentionally disrupt a match. If problems persist, a DQ may happen).
-You are responsible for your own controller. Any malfunctions or errors that occur are your responsibility, including battery issues. So make sure to use the correct settings BEFORE a match is played. Both parties need to agree if a match is to be paused or restarted because of these problems.
-People is expected to be in their stations in time when they are called. They have a 5-minute margin to show up after the call, or they lose the first match. After 10 minutes, they lose the whole set.
-Intentional forfeiting, match fixing, splitting, and any other forms of bracket manipulation are not allowed and punishable by the TO.
-No substitutions are allowed.
-Any observer of the match in course must be at a prudent distance from the players until it is finished, in order to avoid any act of "coaching".
-People is expected to behave and not to phisically or verbally harm others at any moment. Failing to fulfill this point will result in several kind of punishments depending on the TO's discretion, that goes from warnings, DQs, or even remove infractors from the venue.
-Any non-compliance on these points can (and should) be reported to a judge/TO. The penalties are entirely their decision and players involved must abide them.
-Judges, Staff Members and TO's can make adjustments to any of these points if it is necessary for the event to run correctly.
