I believe the original difficulty is preserved in the US Hard mode.
Even so, his boss fight is largely luck based regardless of what mode/which version you're fighting him on.

I mean you can win if you have enough E-Tanks and/or the Leaf Shield.
The thing is, he only has one attack aside from jumping across the screen. He spawns are huge array of tornadoes, then creates a strong wind that blows them and Megaman across the screen. There are 5 patterns of tornadoes he can summon, and AFAIK it's up to luck which ones he summons. 2-3 of them are fairly easy to dodge, but there's two of them where the gap between some of the tornadoes is so small that you're basically guaranteed to take damage.

Yes. He did say everything in the actual direct is subject to change. But I think releasing them at two different times is easier on people's wallets. Probably why.

Yea. Capra Demon was a pain in the ass for me. Kept dying in like the first 5 seconds. I was very lucky to be able to take him down on my 18th try.
I haven't made any progress in Blighttown yet. I attempt to go after the Blowdar Sniper but then a giant Zombie climbs a step. I continued to go forward just to try and kill the sniper. Only to get snuck up on by another giant Zombie I couldn't see. And died because of it. I hate this ****ing sniper dude at the beginning. >_>

And yeah, even if Villager is at the bottom of my list, it's only because I don't like AC. For the character itself though, he's unique, as are all of these newcomers. So I like them all, and hope all the characters Sakurai reveals stay this unique. We're 28/29 none clone characters so far, I say that's pretty good!

Yeah, I also am not a fan of AC. It's just...really boring to me. He is still really unique. I like him because he's basically the AC equivalent of Miis.

Mega Man and Little Mac share a spot because I really like their moveset and they are popular characters that I like.
Rosalina and Greninja share a spot because...well..they both are from franchises that I like. And characters from already represented universes are what I really want.
Wii Fit Trainer and Villager share a spot because...i'm not a big fan of Wii Fit and Animal Crossing.

Mmm Villager = Little Mac > Mega Man > WFT > Greninja > Rosalina.
I love Villager and Little Mac equally, in my mind I'm preferring Villager more because of his playstyle. That said Mac still looks really fun.
Mega Man is good as is WFT, Greninja is meh to ok and Rosalina is dumb imo C:

In terms of both general appeal and interest in playing:
Ugh... all that tongue slapping... yuck.
I was very much looking forward to using Fennekin until I saw its evos, so I switched to Frogadier until I saw its evo, and then finally landed on Chesnaught.
Why couldn't they have stuck with the cloudy motif the first two evos had? That was so much better than wrapping your tongue around your neck. Even that's a weird sentence.
