The Nintendo assassins aren't bound by your silly rules. They exist in a realm separate from ours, where up is down and black is white, and where anything goes. Anything.
They also wear Mario and Luigi hats but that's beside the point.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought it would be a good idea to download the videos files. 
Bowser Jr. (in his Clown Car) and Shulk have been shown directly via leaked video (alongside Ganondorf).
These vids (and pics) corroborate the recent leaks, so at minimum, the following characters remain to be officially revealed:
-Bowser Jr.
-Shulk
-Duck Hunt Dog
-Wario
-Ganondorf
-Falco
-Jigglypuff
-Ness
-Game & Watch
-R.O.B.
And in the same vein as Lucina, we'll be getting Promoted Alt Costumes in the form of Dr. Mario and Dark Pit.
Whether there are more than these characters remain to be seen. But these 12 remaining fighters are most probably in the final product.

It plays all sorts of video formates like .MP4 , h2.64, avi etc... and whole bunch of other codecs. Basically, it can read a lot more files than the windows default windows media player. That's about it though. The software's icon is traffic cone, idk why tho.

You know how we have no new original items in this game? I have a theory. The new items were thought of during Kid Icarus Uprising's development, and added into that game so they could add items from an existing franchise instead of generic items for Smash 4. This explains all the KI items.

I'll give you that you still have reason to doubt the character select picture if you are really skeptical and/or salty. However, faking those videos is simply ridiculous. Do you have any idea how much effort one would have to put in for such a thing? You would have to recreate the Smash 4 animations for Bowser, Pikachu, and Kirby, and hack them into Brawl. You would have to recreate Smash 4's Battlefield. You would have to make a custom rig for Bowser Jr. and make his entire moveset, and animate it to the same standard as Nintendo's animations. Then do the same for Shulk. You would also have to edit all the gfx in Brawl to match Smash 4's style of blurs and whatnot. You would also have to fake the SSB4 style results screen, which is not possible in Brawl. You would also need the announcer calls for the countdown and red team (which to my knowledge has not been heard up until today) This would require months of work just for a silly hoax. I doubt anyone has so much time on their hands and is a big enough troll to pull this off. Not to mention if this was fake, then why would Nintendo's Ninjas remove the videos? If they were hoaxes, Nintendo wouldn't need to take them down. There have been plenty of fake Smash 4 videos that haven't been removed, because they are false.
