Everyone has their cringy posts. I can't look back at my posts from early 2013. My way of posting was... awkward, as I was new to forums AND new to using English infomally. :p

Not to mention I was new to speculation too, so I had a lot of unorthodox and misguided opinions. Heh.

That's especially significant since that game is almost unplayable
Unplayable would be like... If it had game breaking glitches, the controls were the worst things ever, and if levels were so ridiculous that clearing them would require the skill of a player playing the game for a few years.

But it doesn't have these things. You could say "the controls are the worst thing, since they are motion controls", but they work. You just may not be a fan of them is all, which is different from them being non-functional.

So Mighty No 9 actually has a release date. Hoh, took you long enough, Inafune. :p

Here's hoping that the game is good, or it will send his reputation to the underworld.

:231:
Yeah but I expect a lot of people to not care anymore about the game now.

God damn, i love you.
I'm tired to see people saying that SFZ is a "bad" game or that it's "unplayable". When it's just the kind of game that you need time to invest.
Heck, The Wonderful 101 have some weird control. And at first, i was like "wow, it's weird". But you know what? I learned, and the game was then extremely fun. SFZ is the same thing. (And the irony aîs that both of those game have been made by Platinum Game in some way.) But people just want to stop after they have play like 2 hours and said:
"This game suck, Star Fox is dead. Goddamnit Nintendo you bunch of Satan Santa Company of ****!!!"
I don't say you can't say that the control are weird or hard to handle. But please, it's not Sonic 06' kind of bad.

Yeah Star Fox is one of my favorite series, so I may harbor some bias. Regardless, I don't think the game is bad at all.

I hit the enter button while typing and submitted a half finished post. Rip.

Anyways, I don't even like motion controls lol. But I think they're fine once you adapt to it.

Yeah, i was like:
"Uhh...Enter Button Shenanigans?"
But really, i just hope people won't be like:
"Ohh!!! But why Nintendo isn't making another Star Fox games?!"
If the game sell not well.
If it is a failure, Star Fox will probably rejoin F-Zero in vacation.
And that, that's not good.:sonic:

It's even more baffling whenever you see people who are struggling to defeat Andross. Aquarosa is a far more difficult boss, because of its barrier, you're forced to lock onto it, and you're under a strict time limit as well.

Andross is really more of a pushover, since you're given more than enough time to counter or evade his attacks. First timers might have trouble though.

And then there's Sector Gamma, where the giant missiles move quite slowly when all three of their segments are present. That gives you more than enough time to take care of the drone missiles before they begin to damage the Great Fox.

Is mighty no. 9 that Megaman game? I do remember hearing about it ages age, and I did see a trailer also. It really took it's time. I really look forward to it, since I really like platform-shooter type games.

Currently, I'm feeling like I'd want to play a game where I could shoot laser beams and get big scores. Have you got any suggestions? (not bullet hell games, though.)

The mobile site isn't blocked on my school wifi.
YEET

I played a bit of Mega Man Starforce 2 the other day, and I noticed I don't have the same attachment to mega man games I used to have in the past. In other words, the series has grown on me. I tried playing through Gunvolt too, and I still felt the same way. I guess I understand why the Fandom is dieing: the games have gotten too reptitive, stuck to the formula for too long, done little to stand out (Megaman Legends being the exception). Each game has gotten less and less enjoyable to play through. It makes me a bit sad that the series had to end in such a bitter way, but.... meh. It had it's time to shine.

Streaming was fun tonight. I'll definitely do it again on Wednesday evening. I'm gonna get a wired 360 controller because between Undertale and now Touhou being wonky due to keyboard lockups, I'm gonna want a working controller to play the games with. I should probably link my twitch account to my sig while I'm at it

I would agree that some of the complaints are unwarranted. It's not "Unplayable", it's Unorthodox at best, however, that's enough to get some people of the game, which is understandable. However, I can't help but see this as "Fixing what isn't Broken.", I mean, this is the 3rd time they essentially sold Star Fox 64 to people. This time around you have motion controls that aren't optional like the 3DS version. Why that is the case is somewhat baffling. Making the Gamepad important is one thing, but options are also important, especially when you presented similar options before hand In similar tech(Gyro).

Wonderful 101 let's you use the analog stick or Gamepad right? these are the options I'm talking about. Pikmin 3 also uses the game pad in a way that's not annoying. But the game will likely sell decently anyway.

Granted there is some originality thrown in, but it still re-treads enough old ground to justify some of the lukewarm reception it received. Challenges. Cool. Walker from the un-used Star Fox 2. Cool. But if the old control scheme was kept, but with nothing but original levels, maybe the game would fair better critically. So for every good thing that's done, there's about one or two things that are just irritating.

The Co-op idea they have was cool. But they should have had an option to have one player be Falco/Peppy/Slippy or whoever on the gamepad and another on a Pro-Controller. It was such an obvious idea that wasn't used.

That said, It's not like the majority of levels are bad. And there's good replay value in it. And the game genuinely tries new ideas in terms of mechanics(but again, did you really need to re-tread so many SNES/64 levels?).

Finally got Pokken and just as I expected, this game is one of the best fighters I've played in a very long time. Being a new player I'm not exactly great, but I'm learning. I may head over to the Pokken thread later to pick up advice from Lucario mains. I really want to learn him.

This has been happening not only for months, probably for a while now...
Youtube is removing subscribers at the same time over nearly all Youtube channels for no reason, and in that video he mentions there are some people notice some of the channels they sub are unsubbed (And probably still get their videos in the subscription box since that's only the way to know their channels are unsubbed.)
I had mention this before to @Flight and we aren't sure what's going on, this sort of confirms Youtube is getting more and more broken these days. Hope they fix it soon.

I've been rather inquisitive with the speed attributes that the Smash 3DS / Wii U fighters have, and decided to modify them a bit. Not everyone will agree with the modified values though.

Success! I got a wired Xbox controller to use with my Windows 10 laptop so that I can use that to play Touhou again. And I got all the main Windows shmups (sans PoFV) all linked to the special launcher so I can make streaming and switching between games stupidly quick and easy. Plus OBS can actually record them while they're full screen and I am gonna run tests before the official stream tonight to make sure it can stream as such too (should work), but so far so good. Fullscreen games, good controller, smooth streaming, gonna be hawt.

I'm playing some competitive Pokemon and tried out Roselia, who's one of my favorite Pokemons. It's funny, nobody knows what the heck it can do, but this thing can eat up so much special hits, it's scary. In NU at least.

I'm currently avoiding my responsibilities, as usual.

Stop meme-ing and go save America from a menacing Trump who'll either nuke a random country due to his bad temper, or ruin America with a wall. Probably both.

Yeah, I'm starting to gain some interrest in politics. Starting.

I don't even follow politics, but frankly, a president who wants to combat climate change is a huge must. After all, the one thing that really should be considered is making packaging that can be recycled or biodegrade, and becoming far less reliant on oil and fossil fuels.

Environmental issues are definitely one of the biggest things for me as far as who to vote for. For me:
- Environmental issues
- Educational issues
- Social issues

My three biggest concerns, and the ones I feel would benefit the US as a country the most. Anything else is just icing, really. Invest in the future, not wars, that kinda thing.

It also figures that my preferred candidate who aligns with my beliefs on all three of these is currently third in the running for a two-person election. :/

It's rather sad how a lot of the countries are trying to deal with terrorism threats, and yet we all live on the same planet. If only people were a lot more concerned about climate change, because that's a much bigger concern when you consider that a warming Earth can prove to be very disastrous for our future generations; this is especially true for the Arctic and its Polar Bears, who heavily rely on the sea ice for hunting prey.

It's not like terrorist threats are something to scoff at either. Terrorism also impacts the lives of innocent people who may not even share political views with the primary targets. I also agree that climate change is a serious threat many are avoiding but don't try to shy away from such an immediate threat to many people's security.

I feel more that the old generation are basically trying their best to f*ck us up. Most of the politics are old men and women who aren't really in touch with reality anymore, and just think politically, not for the people. They want to make their little soup in their little kitchens instead of taking care of the real stuff. They're also pretty nationalistic, they seem fed up with the globalization that was previously instaured, wich is pretty repulsive for the younger generation who are used to be connected to pratically everyone. Instead, they want to build walls and stay alone.

If we could get Bernie and politicians similar to him, it'd be nice.
Bluh, I'm too tired to talk about politics.
