Since Diddy Kong has been revealed, will he have any moveset changes?

The only move he had that I didn't care for was his down-b. The banana throw. If anything is replaced, it'd probably be that. I just hope it isn't replaced with a "tag out" to Dixie!

...Though there is a banana image. Darn.

Its hard to judge new moves based on site pics, because some characters only get a new ariel or tilt, with other moves being altered. For all we know, Diddy could have a new side B or something.

I think all of his specials return, maybe except Side-B. I wouldn't mind a new final smash.

We've seen all his specials except his side b, which wasn't very special in the first place but I did love calling out "Monkey Fleep!" whenever I used it so...

If anything I'd like to see some of his attacks revisited. The Peanut Popgun in general could use some changes I think.

I wouldn't mind some changes. I was so hyped when he was announced for Brawl, but was a little disappointed with the outcome.

Most of his moves are just fine, but for example his Fsmash, Usmash and Nair/Uair are just pointless and could be changed up a bit.

I visualize Diddy as a character with a lot of mobility: he should be able to move around the stage easily and with different tactics.

one change i would like to see from the bananas, in a balancing way, is when you get hit by a thrown banana, it shouldnt trip you. just like getting hit by snakes grenade does explode on you.
the banana has to be on the ground and you physically have to step on it for it to trip you.

Aside from Bowser and Pit, he seems to be the veteran that changed the most. Changes include:

1) His up tilt is now a punch (probably asthetic change only)
2) He has much more range
3) His up special can launch along more horizontal trajectories

What does that even mean?
if you get hit by a thrown banana in brawl it makes you trip no matter what. im saying in ssb4, for balancing, the banana should only trip when it hits a certain part of your hurt box, mainly the portion closes to the ground of the stage.

Think his tail waggle will be removed for something else cause of the update of Wednesday.

All of his special moves look unchanged except for his Side B the Monkey Flip which has not been seen yet.

He could have had a different up smash with the simian spring:

However it seems this possibility is out of question already :/

I actually really like his current Up Smash. It was a great combo starter. Hope it'll return and get some range buffs to.

I would love for him to get a different jab. Or even if it stays the same, it will have gained a (hopefully) awesome finisher.

The Fatmitsu article about Smash showed a new pic of Diddy, doing the tail waggle. So it has returned.

Doubt they are gonna change much from his moveset now.

On 26:22 in the direct, when it transfers over to the boxing arena to demonstrate Little Mac's power meter, if you look immediately to the right when that scene commences, you'll see Diddy doing a ground pound of sorts. Might be a new D-Tilt.

Wait seriously? I really, really hope this does not change his Down Air! That attack was amazing, and so fun to use!

Even if the tail waggle has returned, don't forget that it will have a finishing move too, like all other jabs. Might actually become practical now, if the finisher comes out quickly enough before the opponent can SDI out of the initial wiggle.

Yeah after some consideration that is what is most likely gonna happen! And am hoping it'll be a tail spin much like his ledge-attack under 100%. But anything will do honestly. I just wanna play Diddy again, badly!
