Footstool into Dair Spike
Sonic has the ability to Down Air spike out of a footstool, on certain characters. See this thread by @Espy Rose for how it works. Sheik can also Footstool into Dair, but it works on different characters.

HUGE credit to @Wasserwipf for making the GIF's.

Getting the Footstool
Unlike Sonic, we do not have super easy footstool setups, but we do have a few that do work. The following setups are ones that work at percents that the Down Air spike will kill.

Grenade > Footstool - Throw a grenade behind your opponent, then rup and and footstool them right after the explosion.

Short hop, and throw a burst grenade behind your opponent.
As soon as you can act again, dash up, and footstool them out of the explosion.
At mid percents it is easiest to full hop out, following their trajectory, and footstool them at that height. At higher percents, you have to short hop and footstool them as early as possible, once they are offstage (as shown in the GIF).

Grenade > Footstool > Down Air Spike is guaranteed, and registers as a true combo in training mode.
While it seems like just a flashy option, in some cases this is the optimal punish after a shield break. There is not really any other situation where this footstool combo could be used.

Aerial Needles > Footstool - After hitting your opponent with your hand of needles, double jump into footstool.

After hitting an airborne opponent with your hand of 6 needles, double jump towards them and then footstool.
The difficult part is getting the needles to hit, from a good distance. This often has to be combo'd into.
Any move that combos reliably into aerial needles works with this setup.
This includes: UpTilt, Ftilt, Dtilt, Fair, Bair, Nair, Grenade, Grenade shell and Fthrow (kinda).
The best move for combo-ing into needles is UpTilt, but any of the others can be used. Note that Fthrow > Needles IS NOT A COMBO after about 30% on most characters. What is shown in the GIF is not guaranteed, as Fthrow was only used to show the needle > footstool combo.

Rapid Jab > Footstool - Rapid jab your opponent directly beside the ledge, then double jump when you slide off, into a footstool.

When you rapid jab an opponent right beside the ledge (and I mean RIGHT beside the ledge, as close as you can get), while facing the ledge, then you will slide off before the final hit. Exactly the same as Falco’s jab cancel as seen here in a video made by Izaw.
Wile rapid jabbing, hold forward and mash jump. It will lead nicely into a footstool. The hard part is inputting a Dair very quickly afterwards, before they've fallen too far for it to not work.

Reverse Ftilt > Footstool - Run up to your opponent and hit them with a reverse Ftilt, then fullhop backwards into a footstool.

It is best to not turn around before the fullhop, as if you stay facing the stage then sheik will land on the stage after the Dair, and the opponent will be spiked offstage.

This is the only option that sheik survives the Dair spike.
Because Dair has a landing hit, at certain percentages it can break the spike. If the opponent ends up beside Sheik when she lands from the spike, then the landing hit will hit them and either hit them back on stage, or stage spike them. To avoid this you can choose to turn around before jumping so that you SD.

Tipper Dtilt at Ledge > Footstool - Punish a ledge regrab or 2 frame with a tipper dtilt, then jump forward into a footstool.

Probably the easiest of these setups to actually get in a game. Doesn’t work at kill %s with the non tipper dtilt, so make sure you space it right.

Windbox Ledge Trump > Footstool - Ledge trump your opponent with sheiks UpB, then drop down and footstool.

A GIF or video will go here once I get around to testing this more.

This setup only works on characters who’s UpB’s do not snap to the ledge. See this thread for info. This tech is quite new, and I have never managed to get this to work myself. Maybe I should do that...

Grenade Shell > Footstool - Hit your opponent with the grenade shell, land, then jump and footstool.

Very impractical, but flashy, and there are times when it could actually be useful. If you have a nade shell in an important match go for Nade shell > Usmash or BF. This is only useful if you are a stock ahead and and get the opportunity to end their stock early. See this thread by @Absol 359 for other Nade shell options.
There are multiple ways to set this up, and each technique is suited to different percents, characters, and situations.
Note that the grenade shell does not hit the opponent into the air until about 65%. Until then, they will just slide along the ground, unable to act.
Method 1: Jump Cancel Nade Shell Toss
Best used at low-mid percents, e.g. 40% - 65% and near the ledge.
Dash towards your opponent, and JC slide toss the nade downwards, hitting the front of the opponent with the nade shell. Continue running towards them, and as they fall offstage drop down and footstool.
Method 2: Z-Drop
Best used at higher percents, e.g 90% - 120% and near the ledge.
See this video for an explanation. Jump over your opponent, then Z-drop the grenade shell onto them, making sure to hit them on the side opposite to the way you are jumping, just like the Up Smash setup shown in this thread. For this method, you can footstool them without landing, of you did a fullhope to jump over the opponent, or if you did a short hop, you can land, then jump and footstool.
Method 3: Aerial Downwards Throw
Best used at high percents, e.g. >90% and near the ledge.
See this video for an explanation. Short hop, then double jump and throw the grenade shell down. Fade towards where your opponent was towards and footstool.

Footstool into Dair Spike - Who it works on:
Getting the Down Air spike after a Footstool is done by buffering Down Air immediately after the footstool animation starts. You can also use the footstool sound as a cue, but you’d need godlike reaction time for that.

Will Work:

Won't Work:
:4charizard::4dedede::4diddy::4dk::4fox::4greninja::4myfriends::4littlemac::4link::4megaman::4pikachu::4pit::4samus::4sheik::4sonic::4tlink::4villager::4wiifit::4zss::4palutena::4pacman::4falcon::4robinm::4robinf::4metaknight::4shulk::4bowserjr::4darkpit::4falco::4ganondorf::4gaw::4jigglypuff::4miibrawl::4miigun::4miisword::4rob::4wario::4feroy::4ryu::4cloud::4bayonetta:

All testing was done on a New 3DS, using the grenade to footstool method, on ¼ speed, as it is the most reliable way to get the footstool and see if it works.

For some reason, it will work on some characters when using the grenade method, but not the other methods, and vice-versa. I think it is because of momentum in Smash 4, which is when a strong hit is very quickly followed by a quick hit, and the momentum the person being hit already has from the strong hit carries on into the weak hit, so there is different knockback from the weak hit than normal. This applies to footstools as well. A good way to show this is by using Sheik’s vanish beside a CPU and aiming the reappearance so that it hits the opponent after the explosion.

So have fun footstooling your opponents to death, if you get any of these setups in a match you should record it and comment it here! I'll put the link, and your name, in a box for all to see! The box is in the first comment. Scroll down a little more.

That’s all, really :]

The box has been moved to this comment.
This is where videos/GIFs of people getting this in-game will be put.

This comment will also be used to show if any more testing is being done involving this tech.
