Open to all North American and European players.
Will be held on September 26th, 2020, at 12 PM Pacific/3 PM Eastern/7 PM GMT.
Check in starts 30 minutes before.
It will be run using Challonge, and will be a Swiss bracket, to maximize the number of games played.
This uses SD Remix 3.3 Rollback (compatible with and requires Slippi Rollback).
If you have Melee rollback already set up, it takes about 5 minutes more to get SD Remix working.
More information here: https://sdremix.games/installation/rollback-netplay-guide/
It's free to enter.
1st place: $20
2nd place: $10
Rules:
Normal Melee rules
Sets are best of 5.
Neutral stages: Battlefield, FD, Dreamland 64, Yoshi's Story, Whispy's Battlegrounds
Counterpicks: Smashville, Cranky's, Fountain of Dreams
Because of extra counterpick stages, you still get 1 stage ban as winner.
Alternative to Rock Paper Scissors:
You can use Game & Watch's hammer to determine who bans first on first game. Like a coin flip, other player calls "Odds" or "Evens". To keep things fair, a 9 is considered neither and you do another hammer.
