Salt Lake Comic Con is back for its second year, and with it, comes the second annual Super Smash Bros. Tournament with a new name - Smash Comic Con! We’re trying to top last year’s tournament as well as the FanXperience tournament in April by including not only Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Melee, but also the much requested Project M!
Players need to provide their own controller for matches – any controller that works with the game may be used, including Wii Remote, Wii Remote+Nunchuck, Wii Remote+Classic Controller, or GameCube Controller. If you plan on using a Wii Remote, you are encouraged to bring a back-up controller and batteries just in case.
If you need a controller for the tournament, we will have GameCube controllers that you can rent for $5 and an ID. When you are finished with the controller, we will give you your ID and $3 back.
For this tournament, we don’t need to ask our participants to bring TV’s, Wii/GameCube Systems, or copies of the games as everything will be provided by Gamer’s Abbey.
