Tentative Schedule:
12 PM- venue opens
1:30 PM- start Project M doubles
2:30 PM- start Melee singles
3:15 PM- start N64 and Pokemon side events
4:30 PM- Break
5:00 PM- start Project M singles

Discounts:
*$1 venue discount for bringing a PM setup. (make sure you download our common 5)
*$1 venue discount for bringing a melee setup.
*$1 venue discount for bringing a N64 setup. (Please bring controllers if you can.)
*$1 venue discount for bringing a CRT TV ( ideally no smaller than 12").
*$1 venue discount for entering multiple events.
*$1 venue discount for long distance entrants.
*$1 venue discount for first time DIOD entrants.
*To be eligible for the equipment discounts, we must use your equipment, and it must be available for the duration of the event.
*Venue discounts for equipment will be given on a first come first served basis.
* To those bringing Wii's to receive the venue discount, make sure to also have a copy of brawl, and an SD card with the non WiFi version of Project M version 3.0.2 with no custom character or stage textures.

Rules:
*Registration will close 15 minutes prior to each event. Late registration is subject to an extra fee.
*Please respect the venue and clean up after your selves!
*Upon entering the venue please go straight to the desk to register and pay. Please leave any set ups in your car until a TO verifies that we can use your equipment.

I can't make it to this tournament in particular, but are there any other events around the Springfield/Oak Grove area like smashfests or weeklies that occur on a regular basis?

This is a very good description , but one thing was left out. We forgot to mention that this is the most fun tournament in the midwest. Also we had 63 people last DIOD so come out and join in the hype
