SD Card Issues

Hey Guys! so I'm trying to remove the project M data from my SD card, and my computer (a macbook air) wont let me do it. i try to drag the files to the trash and i get an error message saying that the files cant be deleted. if tried to reformat it through disk utility and that hast worked either. any advice for how to make this work?
