Way ahead of you! I'm trying to make Air Mac a legitimate thing. We can do it.

EDIT: It means nothing if you don't live afterward! You gotta land a footstool after D-Air/N-Airs or land just the right F-Air. I believe in you.

I've started incorporating this into my game as well, because **** it. Its fantastic though high risk. Could anyone make a list of the easier targets? I notice a lot of difficulty comboing down marths, shieks, greninjas, etc. Notable ease with lucario, ike, bowser jr, duck hunt, and so on.

Can I get an explanation? I've been gone for a weekend and the Mac-Meta is already changing. Whats a footstool? It seems to benefit his terrible air game. Soooo I'll learn it for sure if it means perfecting Mac.

Footstool is when you use your opponents as stepping stones to jump higher (getting a 3rd jump)

Is there a good expanation of how to do a footstool? I've had it used against me and its INFURIATING when Im just about to recover and SPROING. The only information I can find when searching is Brawl footstool mechanics for larger characters. And I feel like LITTLE Mac may be different then Bowsers or Ikes footstool lolol

Not much to explain really. When you are above someone and touching them and press jump, you jump off of their head. You can practice by trying it on the computer in training

Wow I overcomplicated that in my head, I had heard it was required to gimp them and place them in a flinch-like status than press taunt to footstool off of them. Man this could be better explained in a few places. Thanks again Sticky as always

Had to change it to 50. 100 is just overkill. Mahgawd.

So essentially, don't use your second jump if trying to footstool. Gimp them with a Nair or other aerial hit, and then immediately jump (with jump button) off their heads to kick them down and HOPEFULLY recover, correct?

This is horribly fun to do, and surprisingly unknown at the moment. Nothing shuts up a little mac ditto like running to the opposite edge and purposefully whiffing his K.O. punch into the wind, then rushing back to the fight and closing with a nair > footstool gimp.

Honestly with all the complaining the lil man gets he needs these kinds of stylish options. Props to hitting 50 and good luck other Air-Macs!

after watching these, I wan'ted to practice gimping some myself. has anyone tried down throw or D-tilt into Nair to move people around the stage and keep up constant pressure, or is that not really viable?

Sounds like it could work. I never tried it but I will now. After a down throw I usually go for Up b

So is this still possible after the patch? I read somewhere that Mac's Nair got higher knockback now.
