Yes it is. You can do any Down B the opposite way you are facing by hitting the control stick at a downward direction while hitting it exactly diagonally away from the direction your facing. For example, if I was doing the wavebounce to the right, I would hit the control stick exactly at the left bottom diagonal corner. The result would be me magnet pulling the opposite direction. This works with every down b.
