Question Regarding Coin Matches

Ok, so I created a coin factory with the hope of getting the trophy for coin collecting. Set up a match and managed to accumulate around 5000+ coins. However, in my records, it hasn't counted any of these coins at all as if the match didn't even occur.

What did I do wrong?

If I'm understanding correctly, you have to do a coin match in standard Brawl--NOT Special Brawl.

Huh... that may be why then. I made my Ice Climbers metal in a special brawl. I shall try a normal brawl and see if that works. Thanks

just make the spikes right under the platform and send 2 lucarios down and u can get 22 000 in 10 minutes
