Qbby may not look like much, but despite his small, weak, boxy exterior, a true fighter lives inside, waiting to bust out and join the battle!

Overview

Boxboy is a small puzzle-platformer on the Nintendo 3DS, created by HAL Laboratory, and released in 2015 on the eShop. The main character, Qbby, (pronounced "Cubey") has the strange ability to duplicate his blocky self, and uses these blocks to climb up cliffs, block lasers, open gates, and more.

How would he play?

Many characters in Super Smash Bros. have needed new moves created to make them a viable fighter. Qbby already has boxes, which he can use to whack opponents away. Many of his attacks could involve him extending his blocks out and using them as fists, swords, and obstacles. His special attack could involve him extending blocks (up to four) in any formation possible, before throwing them with his side special. Using the special again retracts them. His down special would make his blocks disappear from the stage. All of his normal attacks would have their range decreased one block by every block present on the stage, as Qbby can only have so many out at a time. This would make Qbby an experimental character, but not a weak one. These are my Moveset ideas. If you have your own, please tell me.

Overall, I think he would make a fun inclusion to the roster. Do I think he'll get in, that's hard to say for any character, but likely or not, I think he'd be a fun fighter for the Smash Bros style.
