Would it ever be possible to make the Alt Stage Song Forcer code work like the ASL code? As in, it only recognizes the button combos you've set in the code and not any others? Right now using it with things like Project Ganondorf causes issues because holding down taunt to start as Sword Ganon interferes with the music selection. You basically need to duplicate every song in the code with down taunt added as a button press.

So you'd be able to do like random element bombs for bomberman? :p That'd be pretty neat.

I'm guess that the elements are your standard fire/ice/dark/elec and that every attack without one already attached will have one of those flags applied to it now, either for the match or per attack?

yes, that's possible now :) also I could give characters one-slot alt movesets without PSA editing now.This code, however, replaces flower mode with 20XX's Random Element Mode. I'm really proud of the random function in there - it's so simple and effective!

Everytime I've tried using this code, my game freezes right after pressing start at the character select. I'm not sure if it's the code itself or the way I'm injecting it into my build; although I assume the latter.

I don't understand your Hold L for load character code at all. It needs an in depth guide because not only do i not understand hex (or what 3F is or where you got it from), once the code is used, you don't explain where you put the files or what they have to be named or anything. It's just a bit too much to throw at someone without a guide imo.

You literally make a new clone. Go through the same process as making a clone, but skipping the cosmetics part for the CSS screen in the sc_selcharcter.pac (Name, CSPs for Character Select Screen) but only add the BPs, Stocks (optional) [info.pac and STGRESULT.pac] , and CSPs in the projectm\pf\menu\common\char_bust_tex -> MenSelchrFaceBXXX. Then change the cosmetic ID to whatever you named it.

EXAMPLE: MenSelchrFaceB690 [69 = 45 in HEX], so put that over the character you want to have an L-Loading ALT. Mario = 00, so you put "45" over the "00" so Mario will load that clone when holding L. [EDIT: Assuming you named / have the character over "slot" 45. If not, it needs to be whatever you're clone is, EX: 5A. After that, change the cosmetic ID in the CosmeticConfig to 45 so that it loads the new cosmetics you added]

So, remember, you are technically making another clone, so the same steps still apply, your just not adding him to the Character Select Screen, so you skip that step, but follow all the others.

I've done a little bit of testing with Zelda. Overall it worked alright until I used it in other ports.

Player One worked as the code should, but only with some of the icons being different colors.

(Actual color) -> (Icon color after transforming)
Normal -> Normal
Red -> Red
Blue -> Blonde Zelda
Blonde -> Black
Green -> Blue
Black -> Green
Melee -> Melee

Player 2 - 4 requires the previous player to be present for the code to do something though the results were always the same 2 wrong icons.

Black Roy(Shiek) -> Biker Wario Red & Black(Zelda)
Blue Rob(Shiek) -> Green Ike(Zelda)

I wasn't able to test player 4 to see which icons it gives as I don't have a forth controller.

I also havn't tested Giga Bowser or Warioman, but can when I get more time.

It knows by the HEX ID.

Say the clone you made is clone ID 5A, you put the 5A where the character you are wanting to L-Load (Mario = 00), then for the character cosmetics, you change the character ID to whatever you made the cosmetics as. Say its MenSelchrFaceB690 [69 = 45 in HEX]. The cosmetic does not affect the code, you need to only worry about what the clone is ID'd as.

Cosmetics is a different thing and only for the CosmeticConfig. If it loads character 5A over Mario, and you followed the guide / tutorial, remember that you need to change the cosmetic ID from the base character you cloned, once you do that it will pick up the newly added cosmetics. If you don't add whats needed (BPs and Stage Result CSPs), it will freeze.

OK well thanks for trying to explain it to me man, I really appreciate it. I'll just wait until people start taking requests to do it for me, but I appreciate your time.

I've done a little bit of testing with Zelda. Overall it worked alright until I used it in other ports.

Player One worked as the code should, but only with some of the icons being different colors.

(Actual color) -> (Icon color after transforming)
Normal -> Normal
Red -> Red
Blue -> Blonde Zelda
Blonde -> Black
Green -> Blue
Black -> Green
Melee -> Melee

Player 2 - 4 requires the previous player to be present for the code to do something though the results were always the same 2 wrong icons.

Black Roy(Shiek) -> Biker Wario Red & Black(Zelda)
Blue Rob(Shiek) -> Green Ike(Zelda)

I wasn't able to test player 4 to see which icons it gives as I don't have a forth controller.

I also havn't tested Giga Bowser or Warioman, but can when I get more time.
really... huh. I'll have to play around with that, since I could have sworn all the colors lined up. Thanks for testing it out!

hey about the L-Loading code is it possible to program a code that can be used to L-Load on a BrawlEX character? Like for example we choose a BrawlEX character and when we hold L we load a different one like you would with the default?

I just tried this code out on concole. No matter who I pick, when I transform the stock icons turn into question marks.

EDIT: This only happens when I use port 1.

Can confirm that they all turn to random icons after transformation. Also the code still requires to previous player. So for icons to change for player four, it requires players 1-3.

A really minor bug I noticed with Random Element Mode. If you select Flower on the special screen and then press OK at the bottom, it works. But if you select Flower and then press start to advance to the CSS, flower gets unselected and you have to go back and pick it again. Happens on both Dolphin and Wii.

Random Element Mode works with PM+BrawlEX, right?

Edit: Also because I don't know how what can I use to put the code into my gct?

How do I use the song forcer code for multiple alts? I've been trying to figure out how to organize the code, but no good results lol. Sometimes it just doesn't do anything and sometimes it plays Battlefield's tracklist for all stages o_0 I can get it to work for a single alt only D:

I haven't been able to get it to work at all myself. Just plays the default tracklist for every alt all the time. Who has gotten this to work for more than one alt? Even with the edits to the code to make it support CSE, I still haven't had success.

I didn't use CSE at all, but I can't get it to work either. How do you know the ID of your song with CSE? Maybe that's what didn't work?

A while back you posted in a thread on reddit with a code that would give Jigglypuff a 7th costume slot (like the one in 3.61 for headband puff), without messing around with cBliss. The link to the file is dead, however. If you are able to give me that code again (along with any stipulations for making it work), that'd be amazing.

EDIT: this is the thread in question.
EDIT2: It seems that to do this I would use the Masquerade Code. How do I isolate Jigglypuff in all of that, and how do I add the costume?

Hi @PyotrLuzhin

I've tried the "Stock Icons Change on Transformation v4 (vPM Edition)[PyotrLuzhin]" code and it works great in vs and training, but when I try to load any level in the Subspace Emissary mode, it freeze on start up

What exactly are you trying to use the code for? I managed to get it working after some trial and error, and now I've got it working perfectly for a whole bunch of stages and alts. To get it to work you have to follow wiiztec's tutorial but change every li r0,0xMMMM to li r0,0 and add ori r0,r0,0xMMMM on the next line, like I mentioned on the last page. Also, if you're trying to use it with expansion stages (Phantom Wings' code) you first need to assign them a tracklist with the Tracklist Modifier code, or else only the first couple stages will work. Not sure why exactly, but it's the same with the old Stage-Track Dependant Song Loader as well.

Also, with the Stock Icons Change code (BrawlEx Version), Bowser's stocks only seem to change to Giga Bowser's for the first costume, every other costume changes to a question mark instead. Works flawlessly for Zelda and Sheik though.

Try using the multiple songs/multiple alts version. That's the version I'm attempting to use. Changed the beginning lines, and each song line as I was supposed to. Got a huuuuuuuuuge code output and everything. It just doesn't work for some reason. If it matters, the CSE slots I'm using are from C000 - C0B5 and an example of the code I had setup following wiiztec's guide:

(This is just the Battlefield stages. Trying with just these stages, the game only loaded the default tracklist)

You're missing the beginning of the code
I left that out intentionally. I used the adjusted code from the OP at the start. But... since nothing else was mentioned I'm guessing there wasn't anything wrong with it? I'll post the whole of what I have/had here.

It may also be worth noting, I made a slightly less intense code using normal tracks (multiple songs per multiple alts) from other stages on alts (without CSE) and that works perfectly fine after going through your guide as normal.

Hey, I have this strange problem wherein once I add the random element mode code to my GCT, I only get flower mode and on quitting the match and going back to the special mode menu, the first option (the one containing stamina mode) gets glitched out and allows me to choose things like "flower FLOWER mode".

I added the stock icon code the same way and it works. Moreover, I had someone else add the REM code to my gct and still the problem persists for me.

I'm using a hackless wii.

Typical Noobie question, but I tried using GCTEdit to add in the code for Random Element Mode. Thing is, when I click Add Code button it says "Input code size must be divisible by 16."
I definitely want to put this in my sd card, so advice would be appreciated.

EDIT: I'm such an idiot. Delete the spaces x.x
I'm such a fraud ;-;

Despite my idiocy, works like a charm. Thank you! :D

Did you use this one? But yeah. Open the program, and open your gct. Paste the code into the Add Code box and then delete all the spaces in the box. Once there are absolutely no spaces in the code, click Add Code, save GCT and done.
