I don't know if the people posting in this thread knew it was about Melee but:

I think Puff is fourth in the game at worst. My argument is essentially that Puff is definitely better than Sheik. That goes like:

Puff probably has at least a slight edge against Sheik in the head to head. But if you think it's even, Sheik does badly against ICs. At best, Sheik barely beats ICs and Puff definitely has a very positive matchup against ICs. Puff is Peach's worst matchup and at best Sheik just has an edge against Peach. Right there, Sheik's matchup spread is just worse than Puff's. So Puff is at least a top four character.
