I understand what you are saying but many people are saying money to go to bigger events like MLG, Supercon, Apex, ETC. I do not blame them for not entering. This summer has been a very over-saturated one due to the amount of events happening almost weekly. You cannot blame some for not wanting to enter due to reasons like money, interests, etc. All you can do is, as a TO, make sure people have a great time and if they do and the venue is happy then more power to you.

I get what you're saying Gadiel, but most of those players wouldn't have entered singles anyway, plus alot of them suck lol so they aren't really shooting for top 5, more like top 9.

But I am also for paying out top 5. But only if there's at least 40+ entrants. If we payed out top 5 here we may have gotten another 2 to 3 entrants honestly, but 4th and 5th place won't even get their money back if there aren't at least 40 people entered which would make top 5 payout at this suck for 4th and 5th place, and would piss off the Anti/ADHD/Nairo/Atomsk aka the usual money makers.

Tant is too quick at jumping to assumptions .

This was a lot of fun. Very fun sets against atomsk and jtails, despite losing them both .
Jtails beat me legitimately. I was going to go mk game 3 if i won on halberd game 2. I thought i could take it on halberd since game 1 was sooo close, but i guess it was a bad call. Jtails knew his ****. Good stuff dude!

Glad my brother did as well as he should have been doing :D. And congrats to nairo and orion. Glad there's more mk competition around now. It's a lot more fun.

@Shadow: Sorry dude, your results thread wasn't informative. It doesn't say you went snake X_X, I assumed you went all MK and lost the ditto to Orion.

@NJ/NY: There is absolutely 0 reason not to pay out the top 5. I did it with $5 singles entry at a 25 man local. All $10 entrys should be top 5 regardless of how many people enter. If you had done it using alpha's payouts, here is what it would have looked like:

1st- 115.20
2nd- 52.80
3rd- 33.60
4th- 19.20
5th- 9.60 (i would've rounded this up to 10 and taken away the change on the other players)

Top 4 make a profit, and 5th gets their money back. Not too shabby.
