Project M 3.6beta freezes after boot up screen

Project m 3.6 has frozen every time on my wii at the green screen after the black boot up screen but this has not happened on other wiis. I have re-installed it twice on sd card after formatting in fat32 on a 2gb sd card. I've also tried it with other sd cards and no luck.

i think this is the 'take out your gcn memory card' problem.
it's been posted a few times on help section.

Yeah, please try taking out both memory cards. Also searching around for similar topics in the future.
