Problems with Homebrew

Hey all! I need help playing my gamecube game discs on my recently Homebrewed Wii. Quite frankly I'm not techy at all and I need help fixing this. I know there is a way to do it-- I just don't know how. I would appreciate any responses. If it helps, this is the tutorial I used to homebrew my wii (I homebrewed it for 20xx.)

I use Gecko OS to boot GC disks on my modded wii so that I don't have to go to the wii menu to do it. It removes the need for a wiimote, which is useful. It's downloadable from the Homebrew Browser.

However if your wii is simply having trouble playing GC games at all, I can't really help you because I wouldn't know what was causing the problem or how to fix it.
