PM keeps turning back into regular brawl?

i use the homebrew version of PM (3.6). it loads fine until i enter the stage select screen, at which point it turns back into brawl. it never turns back to PM, and freezes when i try to enter a stage. any help would be appreciated. thanks

Have you tried re-downloading project m?

check your SD card isnt locked
